So my dog decided that since my Melos are so delicious he should totally eat the crotch out of them.....
Do any of you have any good suggestions for what I can do with my Melos to reconstruct them? There's a GINORMOUS hole where the crotch used to be so just sewing it back together is not really an option....

Wed, June 24, 2009 - 5:37 AMOh no - that sucks! one of my cats like to try to get at mine, but he's only ever managed to chew the tip off the flairs which isn't that noticeable.

Tue, June 30, 2009 - 12:13 PMPoor dear. I felt this awful when I accidentally spilt bleach on my garter stripes and spirals! I was able to save the spirals with paint, but the garters didn't fare as well. I agree with all the others. Garters Melo's are the way to go with these. Do like Sharon Kihara & wear your Garters with Rockin patterned tights underneath. Wear panels in the front & back so that no one sees your luscious booty.
Try a round patch of fabric in a similar color (or totally opposite & use a Frankenstein stitch?) & then fit it all the way around the croth & backside. Wear them only with Rosehips or layered hip scarves. Or use artisticly placed patches all around in different colors & make a Franken-Melo.
