I ordered a pair of Melodia's on March 20 and havent received them yet. I ordered them off the ebay store. Is it typical for them to take this long to get mto me? They were supposed to have been shipped on the 25th of March according to the USPS.

I ordered a pair from the eBay store on the 31st, and received an email message from PayPal Shipping that my order went out on April 1, via Priority Mail, and should be here in 2-3 days. But the USPS tracking number that was included in the email says nothing: only "Electronic Shipping Information Received" on March 31. So far the USPS has no record of actually receiving the package for shipping. But PayPal says my order was shipped. (I've certainly been charged.)
I emailed the girls at the customer service address given by PayPal, melodiadesigns01@hotmail.com, this morning. Maybe it's a problem at the Post Office?

Mon, April 7, 2008 - 1:37 PMI've found USPS tracking numbers to be fairly worthless. Whenever I have one, it normally doesn't seem to get updated past "info received" until after the package arrives. If they're not going to update their system, I don't know why they offer the feature.
However, I did get an email stating mine had been shipped and I would receive them in two to three days, I got them two days later. Did you get a PayPal email stating they had been shipped?

I've made 3 other eBay purchases the last month that shipped with PayPal shipping, via Priority mail. They all arrived pronto. Ditto two used book purchases via Amazon.com that shipped Priority: both arrived within 4 days. Something is up with Melodias' shipping, or their local post office; Priority mail should not be a black hole from which not even light escapes. :-(

And the usps tracking actually was updated every night (which almost never happens when I get things shipped usps). Have you tried calling usps to have them check the tracking #? -

They event I ordered the pants for in the first place is this weekend, so if they're not here by then, I'm SOL.
On the other hand, I'll be making the trip out for Tribal Fest, so I can at least peruse the pants in person, and maybe get a pair without having the post office losing them. (Although I suppose the airline could always lose my luggage on my trip home... maybe melodias are just not in the stars for me.) -

Tue, April 15, 2008 - 7:53 PMI ordered from the "clearance" post at the beginning of the month and just got my invoice yesterday... I thought I was forgotten with my ivory crackles. If I recall correctly, there are certain shipping days so don't sweat it... =)
Poor Danielle must be recovering from the sale and now getting ready for Tribal Caravan in 2 weeks.

Fri, April 18, 2008 - 8:46 AMI was just logging in to eBay report my order "not received" when I decided to check the USPS tracking info, one last time.
And, lo and behold, the USPS says they received my package at the San Diego facility on April 17th.
So yes, the USPS updates their tracking info.
And no, my order was not shipped on April 1, as the PayPal message stated.
I'm more than a little PO'd. The pants don't get shipped for three weeks after the shipping label is printed, I get a misleading message from PayPal, NO communication from Melodias. And my pants won't be here for the event tonight. -
