It was a really hot day on Friday.....especially for those of us who sat in the car waiting on time tickling by. I'd say a handful were there at noon and within the half hour ~ an hour it got real busy. lol, Danielle and Melodia had red color brown shopping bags for everyeone, as well as a large fitting room with big mirrors......I saw one girl with so much stuff on her arms she could hardly get thru the fitting room door....ha ha ha that was so cool.

It was great to see bargain like hole-ly or slightly cut pants, super small inseams, slightly irregularly dyed fabric batiks, some one of kinds (for example: warm cream with gold glitter, silver netting, green mendi, disco, patterned sheers, some last one of previous specialties) or Melodia's own used costumes, matching (or mix-match) tops, coats, leather goods, jewelry, belts, street clothes, odds and ends of costuming bits, cats (not for sale), and of course, rows and rows of perfect normal priced pants (no new design or colors yet)! I didn't count but by memory there were probably 11+ racks, some double rods, all lined up with many bins of smaller items or the rejects. It was a lot of stuff, so Danielle was Not kidding that there is no way to list them all on line, the sheer amount of work to list description of everything and ship...etc. would be insane. And there are used items so cheap that selling online would not be profitable. Melodia was extremely generous! I so love her!!!! What a beautiful woman and so talented and poised! Danielle as so helpful, answering questions, organizing, entertaining people. :) She would make a great piratrix, or gladiatrix....(did I get the spelling right?)

< my black cat just walked over and laid on my perfectly folded, freshly washed army green mini I got for $20 b.c. there is a hole in it. awwww, and he looks so cute and really seems to enjoy the pants as his pillow.....lol.....>

9 pants, 7 tops, 1 coat, 1 belt, 1 fringe panel, about $841......I am sure if I had more $$ on me, I would have spent it.

today I am doing my tax return.... <cry>

oh one last funny and slightly disturbing story, I grabbed a cream slashies top after someone had tried it on and left it on the go-back table. Geez, when I got home to try it on again there was a very distinct <cough> odor at the armpits....I washed it with 7-generation, and found that the odor is still there, then I used fabrize, then oxy clean stain remover, then fabrize again, hopefully that would kill it.....it's still drying right now. lol.....

I didn't even remember to take a picture with them....i was pretty exhausted, he he....didn't see anyone else with a camera either. Perhaps someone late friday or saturday did.

It was so much fun! I didn't get a chance to go until Saturday and I debated with myself if it would even be worth it (I know how obsessed you all with the pants; I was sure you would have cleaned Melodia out!). It was totally still worth it. I got a fabulous pair of blue pockets (they're on me right now), a pair of purple fringes, a pair of those specialty pants with the black ruffles that were cut the wrong way (but they're still so cool), and the most beautiful coat ever. I only wish I had the $$$ to afford one of Raven's gorgeous pieces. I couldn't stop petting them :)

Oh, and next time (please let there be a next time) I want to go with Bargain Goddess Morgan. Very impressed with the stash you got!

Well....me, with my highly evolved brain...I was thinking....If any of you lucky ladies have bought some XL´s in a hurry and now you wanna get rid of them (well, i know that that is wishfull thinking but who knows....) let me know...im sure there is a whole lot of of other ladies intrested too.

PLEASE POST PICTURES!!!! It makes me sad to hear of all these rare awesome pants and never see what they look like. Please make me jealous!!! I want to know what I can't have.

First I must say thank you to Melodia and Mizz Cherry Pie!!! You guys were so sweet and hospitable. I felt so comfortable at your house, it was like I was shopping in my old friend's closet!!!

I didn't get there until about 4pm on Friday. Stoopid work wouldn't let me leave until noon and then we had to drive the almost 3 hours to San Diego. But, it turned out to be perfect. There was no one there shopping but me and my dance partner Angie, for most of the 2 hours we rummaged through the racks. All total I spent about $300. I got 4 pairs of pants, 3 pairs of killer earrings, 2 of Melo's used jackets, some misc cool ass t-shirts, an Indian print cotton top and skirt set, a big fluffy tulle overskirt thingy, an assuit bra embellished with all kinds of silver, and one of Melo's amazing coats that was an unfinished project so I got it for only $30!!! I knew all kinds of cool stuff was already gone, but I tried not to think about it. I got amazing stuff and I'm really glad I made the drive. It was totally worth it.

Oh yeah, and best of all, there were two pairs of black minis with one hole each in them that Melo gave me for free!! She said she couldn't charge me because of the holes. 2 FREE pairs of Melos, I thought I died and went to heaven. Melodia's a kind, generous soul.

Damn! That was the best time shopping, EVER! I got some totally cool stuff, and Melodia is such a sweety. Cherry was running around like a chicken with her head cut off, but it looked like a fun run!

i picked up purple slinkies and some white asuit. now i must design something for this fabulous fabric or hand it over to have something made!
