i was wondering ladies. which you like the look of your butt in better. the sashes or the minis? which do you find to be more flattering? and which are more comfy? are they both so fab you could never choose?

Thu, May 15, 2008 - 6:49 AMSashes tantalizingly tease with a taste of deliciousness peaking out,

Re: curious
Thu, May 15, 2008 - 8:33 AMSashes for me. The mini's managed to flatten my butt, which looks weird -

Re: curious
Thu, May 15, 2008 - 9:54 AMI usually get sashes and remove the sash and belt loop,so they look more like the streamlined look of the specialty pants. I don't need ANY extra fabric, sashed or mini-ed, around my butt.

Re: curious
Thu, May 15, 2008 - 9:58 AMI love my sashes. I am still self conscious about wearing such tight clothing and the sash makes me feel like my butt is covered, but still gives a tease of bootay!

Re: curious
Thu, May 15, 2008 - 10:26 AMI like both of them. The sashes are sassier but the minis hug every curve (which I like).

Re: curious
Thu, May 15, 2008 - 10:44 AMI like both but I lean toward sashes ... for me, the mini isn't quite long enough, so there's a mildly unpleasant sensation of having my ass hanging out even though there's fabric there too and I'm constantly tugging the mini part back down. The sashes I feel comfortable enough in to wear to work! I'm wearing them right now! Whee! -

Re: curious
Thu, May 15, 2008 - 5:13 PM>.< Oh!
That is just the reason I haven't got the denim minis I long for. I've got hips out to forever and was worried I'd be tugging all the time. Sounds like I should hope someone posts some L33 denim sashes instead!
*dreams about copper velvet in the meantime*

Fri, May 16, 2008 - 7:41 PMSee, I've got reeallllly wide hips but I love the minis... they have a more streamlined look. And I don't really feel like I tug at them all the time.

Re: curious
Thu, May 15, 2008 - 7:03 PMI like the look of minis on my butt. I had the opposite problem of one of the girls on here... the sashes were the ones that flattened me out the most.

Re: curious
Thu, May 15, 2008 - 7:53 PMLOL, my fringes! They make my butt look cute & round! I think the minis flatten my tush...but my boyfriend begs to differ. My heather sashes look nice on the tush area. I guess if you have a high round rear like mine each can probably work. Minis are good for shaping & pushing in. The sash is a just a cute little butt flap.

Re: curious
Fri, May 16, 2008 - 12:36 AMwow how would one decide without trying both on and staring for hours at ones butt in the mirror? lol. thanks for every ones opinions. i think the consensus is they are all fab, but some look better on some butts, others on other butts. sand i won't know which do my butt the most justice till i have them on, lol.

Re: curious
Fri, May 16, 2008 - 2:29 PMIt would be awesome to have pictures of people wearing their pants along with what size and lengths they are and what inseam and maybe hip measurement the wearer is. We should start a photo group on flickr or something. I would, but I don't have my pants yet. -

Re: curious
Fri, May 16, 2008 - 7:30 PMOnly on this tribe could someone ask for pictures of womens' butts with measurements and not have it sound weird.
I'm just jealous of all you that have several pairs and can make the comparison.

Re: curious
Fri, May 16, 2008 - 7:45 PMI think that might be a cool idea just to give a truly accurate representation of what the pants look like. Anything for the pants.

Re: curious
Sat, May 17, 2008 - 10:08 AMsash sash! - mini flatten butts and rides up while you dance - making me even more a fidget in class that i usually naturally am = lots of fidgeting.
i think that perhaps over time n stretch - the minis help retain the close fit on the hips - as mine are as clingy as hell after an adhoc wash. - sometimes gets in the way on undulations - as you're bottom set of abs are already pushed into 'contracted in' position. (does anyone else find that too? )
